November, 2021: Letter from the President

Dear Berkshire BPW members and friends,

November is a time to focus on gratitude. As the end of the year begins to sneak up on us, I hope you are all able to take some time to reflect on what matters most to you, and to spend time with those you love this Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for you all for your contributions to Berkshire BPW, and to our community. Although we have not been able to meet in person, I am energized by the work our board and members are doing to sustain our mission of supporting working women in the Berkshires.

Along with our Berkshire BPW Facebook page, Instagram, and Linkedin Group, BBPW has recently launched a public-facing LinkedIn Page. Anyone can follow this page to keep up with us on LinkedIn, so feel free to hit the “follow” button, and share with others in your network. Another benefit of having this page is that you can now select Berkshire BPW as the organization when you add your membership or Board service to the Volunteer Experience section of your LinkedIn profile. Thank you to our communications team for putting together this new way for us to connect with each other, and with our community!

We are still looking for a Membership Chair to round out our Board of Directors. There is so much opportunity to positively impact the organization in this position, and serving on our board is a great way to expand your skills and build your resume. We are in the very early stages of organizing a “mini retreat” for our board members in January, which is a great opportunity to participate with the board as we work together to help establish goals and plans for BBPW in the new year. If you are interested in this position with the board, or if you have questions, please contact me.

Thank you to all for your support and membership. Working together, we continue to have a positive impact on our community, as well as within our organization.

With gratitude,

Hannah
