Guest Speakers & Description
Andrea Harrington, Berkshire District Attorney
& The Berkshire Committee of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC-BC)
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month!
During cocktail hour hear from Berkshire County's first female district attorney, Andrea Harrington on a month-long community read of the book, No Visible Bruises: What We Don’t Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us by Rachel Louise Synder and learn about how domestic violence impacts our county and what you can do about it.
We will then hear from The Berkshire Committee of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC-BC) on what trends they are seeing in politics as it relates to women in office and issues affecting women.
MWPC-BC is a committee of the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus that works to recruit, train and elect women locally. It is a non-partisan organization committed to increasing the number of women elected to public office and appointed to public policy positions. This dynamic group is taking action to shape the future of their communities in Western MA.
