Description
Please join us in May for a beautiful conversation with Barbara Bonner about her latest book 'Inspiring Forgiveness'.
Barbara Bonner has spent her professional life devoted to nonprofit leadership, fundraising and philanthropy. After graduate school in art history and arts management, she held leadership positions in three of the New York’s distinguished museums. She then served as Vice President of Bennington College and of the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. For many years she has had her own consulting practice supporting nonprofit leadership. In addition, Barbara says that she has survived leadership positions on ten nonprofit boards in New York and the Berkshires, most recently as Board Chair at The Barre Center for Buddhist Studies. Ten years ago she started a now thriving fund to support women with cancer in the Berkshires. After 30 years in New York City, Barbara now lives full time in the beautiful hills of western Massachusetts where she is a passionate gardener and yoga and meditation practitioner and continues to try to put words down on paper every day.
Her first book, Inspiring Generosity, was published by Wisdom Publications in 2014 and Inspiring Courage in 2017. Her current book, Inspiring Forgiveness came out in mid-March of last year, just as we were all shutting down for Covid. Now, thanks to the wonders of Zoom she is speaking widely on the subject of forgiveness to wide and diverse audiences.
