Bio: Lia Spiliotes, CEO of Community Health Programs, is a leading expert in executive management in healthcare service and care delivery programs. Her experience includes serving as Interim CEO of Community Health Connections in North Central Massachusetts and Broad Top Area Medical Center, JC Blair Medical Center (Pinnacle Health), Huntingdon, PA. Previously, Lia was a partner and senior advisor of The Cambridge Management Group, strategic advisor in the biopharmaceuticals arena at Leerink Swann & Co; and founder and CEO of ValeoVox a diabetes management company. Lia received a Robert Woods Johnson Foundation grant to develop interactive health management tools for the Hispanic community. She sits on the boards of the physician hospital organization of Berkshire Health Center, the Berkshire Fallon Healthcare Collaborative, an accountable care organization, IS183, the art institute of the Berkshires and Berkshire Center for Justice. Lia earned a B.A. from Smith College and a M.Sc. from MIT.

Offerings to BBPW Members: Our health center network, with its caring staff of health care professionals, offers outstanding medical and dental care for patients of all ages in the Berkshire County region. CHP’s “whole person” approach to care for all patients–from infants to elders–also includes behavioral health, nutrition counseling and an array of services to support families and children. CHP accepts most forms of insurance, including MassHealth, and we welcome all patients regardless of income, immigration status or ability to pay. Our insurance counselors assist patients in accessing health coverage programs, and we offer a sliding-fee scale to those who qualify.
