Bio: Karen Zink is the retired President and COO of The Berkshire Gas Company. As President and COO since 2004, she effectively led the organization through numerous significant changes, including three mergers, a 17-year performance based rate plan, 100% achievement of exceptional service quality results, a 13-month labor dispute, a complex moratorium of the Company’s so-called Eastern Division, and much more. Prior to her retirement, Ms. Zink led Berkshire Gas to reach a Settlement Agreement with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, resulting in a new multi-year rate plan that created value for the customers and the Company. Karen also contributes greatly to the community, serving on several boards including as the newly elected Treasurer of BBPW as well as Chair of the Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative. Ms. Zink earned her MBA from Western New England University in 1997 and her BS in Finance from Central Connecticut State
