Dear Berkshire BPW members and friends,
I wrote last month about how the promise of Spring gives us hope in perhaps the darkest time of the year. This is a transitional season in any year, but it feels like March 2022 has us standing at the edge of a lot of transition. It’s been two years since the start of the pandemic, and all the changes that it brought to our lives. We’re starting to see the sun again, both literally and figuratively, and seeing our lives open up again. The prospect of outdoor events coming up is promising, and I hope you share my excitement about our world starting to open up again.
With that being said, I hope you share my excitement about our plans to resume in-person events later this Spring. We have some excellent virtual program plans in the next couple of months, but plans are in the works to get back to in-person BBPW gatherings in the late Spring. As these plans are solidified, I will be incredibly excited to share them with you!
Last month, I wrote about looking positively toward the future. Our mentoring program is in full swing, as mentors and mentees continue to meet. Our 2022 scholarship cycle will kick off next month, and our programs continue with top-notch speakers and presenters. Berkshire BPW is moving forward, and I feel optimistic about the rest of the year.
Thank you to all for your support and membership. I am looking forward to working with you all to make 2022 our best year yet, as we continue to have a positive impact on our community, as well as within our organization.
It is through the feedback, suggestions, and creativity of our board and members that we are able to continue to adapt to best serve our members and community. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email with your thoughts, ideas, or questions.
Warmly,
Hannah
