Welcome to Berkshire Business and Professional Women’s group or Berkshire BPW. My name is Claire Richards and I am the current President of Berkshire BPW. We have been having a fabulous year with interesting and fun programming.
What is Berkshire BPW? We are a group of women wanting to help each other and make a difference in our community. Our members are working women seeking to advance their career goals, earn higher salaries, build stronger businesses, achieve pay equity and equal opportunities, and establish rewarding careers. Berkshire BPW brings many rewards but the most lasting and meaningful are the lifelong friendships. At every event, I connect with new and old friends, we laugh, we support each other in our adventures in life. We are a roomful of powerful women all focused and energized in helping each other rise higher and achieve our dreams.
We are in tumultuous times of change for women and we are an organization to help each other through it and rise to be better, brighter, and more amazing than we already are. We stand for each other. We have voices for ourselves and each other. We brag about our successes and we state our desires, which both help us to celebrate each other.
I am so proud to be a member of this organization and am honored to be serving as the president at the moment. It’s been an incredible journey and one that I will cherish and hold dear to my heart.
