Dear Berkshire BPW members and friends,
The snow has turned to an icy, slushy mess. It’s cold, dark, and the roads are a mess. For many of us, February is the point where the depressing winter weather truly gets old. It’s tempting to want to go into hiding during this time of the year, and turn our focus inward.
But – the days are getting longer. Hints of spring are coming in the form of melting snow and the brief peeks of sun and above-freezing temperatures give us a taste of what’s to come. February is the turning of a corner toward spring.
During this time, I invite you to look positively toward the future, and reach out to expand and grow your network. As the promise of Spring (and outdoor gatherings, perhaps?) draws closer, I want to remind you that there are many ways to connect with fellow members of Berkshire BPW.
The BBPW Members directory offers an opportunity for BBPW members to network virtually and learn about those we haven’t had a chance to connect with at our monthly meetings. It’s a benefit and an opportunity to form potential partnerships – all located on a private, members-only page on our BBPW website. We encourage all BBPW Members to participate and take advantage of this online networking opportunity. You can complete your member bio and upload a photo for the directory by clicking the link below.
Another way to reach out is by following us on LinkedIn, and sharing it with others. There are two ways to engage with BBPW on LinkedIn: By following our BBPW LinkedIn page, which is open to the public, and by joining our LinkedIn group, which has a space for members to post opportunities, resources, and have discussions with other members.
Lastly, our other social media pages offer a great way to stay engaged with the BBPW community, and stay connected to BBPW members. You can find us on Facebook and on Instagram, so be sure to follow us to make sure you’re getting all the updates!
Thank you to all for your support and membership. I am looking forward to working with you all to make 2022 our best year yet, as we continue to have a positive impact on our community, as well as within our organization.
It is through the feedback, suggestions, and creativity of our board and members that we are able to continue to adapt to best serve our members and community. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email with your thoughts, ideas, or questions.
