April, 2021: Letter From The President

Dear Berkshire BPW members and friends,

Celia ClancyI am writing as the snow once again falls in Vermont and in the Berkshires. It certainly is a lot more dreamlike in December than on April 16th! Last week it was in the 70’s. Oh well, we live in New England and we have a beautiful spring and summer season to look forward to. And I hope you are all getting your shots!

We have several new Board and Committee members to share with you! This is so important to keep the Berkshire BPW alive and thriving. Below is an update. Please read carefully and see where you might contribute!

Communications: Co-Chairs are now Sharon Coe and Roberta McCulloch-Dews, who is also new to our group. Also on the committee is Andrea Hurley and Kalee Carmel.

Scholarship Committee: Chair continues to be Hannah Delisle-Stahl. On the committee is Ivy Campos, Kalee Carmel and Cheryl Lechner. We are looking for more members for this committee, as they need to ramp up soon!

Mentorship Committee: Co-Chairs of this growing Committee are Suzanne Engles and Karen Zink.

Vice President: Still open and a new position. Could be wonderful for someone who wants to build their leadership skills and move into the President role in two years.

President: I continue to serve as Interim President. I would like to be able to train someone very soon and hand over the reins by fall.

A big round of applause and thanks to all who are pitching in and helping our group become the best it can be!!

It is so important to have a team with enthusiasm and good organizational skills. I promise you will gain as much as you give. And you make great friends in the process! If you would like to join our team and have fun with a great group of women in this organization, email me at bbpwpresident@gmail.com.
