ANNUAL MENTORING DINNER EVENT
Monday March 6, 2017
Cranwell Resort, Lenox
5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Each year, Berkshire BPW’s Mentoring Committee coordinates an event to encourage the recruitment of young professionals into BPW membership.
All members are asked to invite a young woman age 21-35 who lives and/or works in Berkshire County to attend our annual young careerist mentoring program, where there will be networking opportunities and a program related to career development and community service.
Again this year we would like to have each member who attends to bring a young careerist to our March Meeting.
This year's program includes a panel discussion with several distinguished guests including Karen Zink, President & CEO - Berkshire Gas, Andrea Sholler, Managing Director - Jacobs Pillow Dance, Diane Pearlman, Executive Director - Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative, Sandra Carroll, Chief Executive Officer, Berkshire County Board of REALTORS, Inc.
We define a young careerist as follows:
- To be between the ages of 21-35
- Be or have been employed in a business of their profession with at least one year of full time work experience
- Be living and/or working in Berkshire County
- Be active in civic and/or volunteer organizations in the Berkshire County area
Members become 'mentors' for the evening, inviting a young careerist to the event as their guest. The evening dinner event includes an hour of business networking and a panel discussion focusing on topics of interest for young professionals career advancement.
Goodwill's Suit Yourself Program is present for members and guests to give monetary donations and/or gently used business clothing and accessoriies to support this amazing one of a kind program in Berkshire County.
Our hope is that it will be a night to highlight mentorship, education, volunteerism and networking which are all characteristics of our wonderful organization.
REGISTER HERE By March 1
We are always looking for additional volunteers to join our committee - please reach out to June Roy Martin for more information.
